when i first heard a muslim mosque was being built on/near ground zero, i was appauled. i was further disgusted when i found out they want to open it on sept 11, 2011. however, after reading kenneth's post, i've calmed down some. mind you, i still despise this plan & consider it a huge smack in the face of america. kenneth explained the building isn't neccesarily a ''mosque'' but a community center w/ a islam prayer room inside. i don't have such a huge problem when it's explained like that. however, if the community center really IS suppose to be a celebration of tolerance & peace, then i believe, that since a room such as an islam prayer room is to be included, then a room or, better yet, multiple rooms dedicated as memorials to all of the americans that perished as a result of the sorrowful attacks of 11sept2001 should also be included. just my opinion. as for the two other mosques that already exist near ground zero - they were constructed & in operation way before the 9/11 attacks. w/ the masjid manhatten founded in 1970 & the masjid al-farah in 1985, they hold no significant relationship to ground zero, therefore, they cause no ''uproar'' or ''discontent.'' my opinion is it's more about the timing of this particular ''mosque'' or ''community center.'' the fact it is to be resurected as close to ground zero as possible & the proposed opening date is 9/11/2011 that makes it seem so tasteless & disrespectful. its as if we, america as a whole, are waving a white flag, backing our ears, cowering down & wearing a bright ass neon sign proclaiming, ''we're weak, we don't wana cause anymore controversy so we're just gona agree to anything, come on in & put your giant terroist attacking victory trophy right here where it all happened. right here where u initiated the largest mass murder in american history! we're just gona have ourselves a coke & a smile & let u come in & make a mockery of the so called strongest nation in the world. come on in, we don't mind''

I can say they work from experience. We have western facing windows, so we suffered from glare and heat during the summer. We found that installing window tint on these windows helped with both problems. Take a look at SnapTint window tint kits, we found their pricing affordable and quick to install.

I already know that Sanger was a eugenicist, and by no means was I attempting to defend that line of thinking, nor was I attempting to paint Sanger as a hero, and I was certainly not going to nearly double the length of this article mentioning other details about Sanger's views that are irrelevant to the topic at hand.

The scope of my mention of Sanger extended only to and no further than her words from her book in 1920 in which she called abortion a "disgrace to civilization". She has been painted as someone who supported abortion -- the reason for that support or the end desired by supporting abortion is not immediately material to what I was attempting to argue. Her words contradicted the assertion that she supported abortion, and that is what I was showing.

I have not read all of Sanger's writings, so it is certainly possible that she did come to accept or endorse abortion later in life, as you allege. However, as I've pointed out in an earlier article, Maafa 21 has pulled some intriguing tactics to back up their points -- as I point out they quote-mined one of Charles Darwin's books and took the quote out of context. While I've not seen much of the documentary, as the referenced article points out, I still intend to watch it in its entirety, and if I find any other issues with the documentary, I'll likely be writing about it. However seeing a show of dishonesty early in the film does give reason to call the accuracy and honesty of the remainder into question.

Very interesting. You should watch the film - Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America. Yes- Sanger was for contraception - but - you failed to mention that she was also FOR forced sterilization of those she deemed ignorant and feeble minded. If you sterilize someone , no need for abortion anymore, duh? Sanger was a card carrying member of the American Eugenics Society and she gave speeches to the KLAN, something you also left out of this discussion on "Racism and abortion." Sanger was one of many who came to endorse abortion - even the Eugenics movement was not in favor of it initially because they could sterilize those they wanted to get rid of. In fact, the boards that carried out these eugenic sterilizations often had members of Sanger's crowd including one of Sanger's funders, Clarence Gamble who helped fund the NC Eugenics Board, which sterilized many black men and women. Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger also endorsed putting people on "farms and open spaces" until they could get in line with her "morals" of not having children. So , before you paint Sanger as some hero, read her book, her autobiography, her Birth Control Reviews and stop re-writing history. In the film - Maafa21, they did their home work of researching the paper of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood. The film is top notch and well worth the 2 1/2 hours to view because it is so heavily documented. See a preview of Maafa21 here: http://www.maafa21.com
